Lockheed Martin Executive to Lead Industry Group

Lou Kratz was elected to lead the National Defense Industrial Association’s Logistics Management Division.

Kratz assumed chairmanship of the division at the conclusion of the 27th National Logistics Conference recently held in Miami.

Kratz is the vice president and managing director of logistics and sustainment at Lockheed Martin Corp. Kratz also guides Lockheed Martin’s automatic identification technology efforts.
Katz said: “We believe that through a strong partnership between industry and government, we will significantly improve military readiness and meet operational needs while achieving affordability objectives.

“A partnership that incentivizes performance and leverages industry’s strengths in inventory management, supply chain execution and new technology implementation will reduce risk while fostering agile and highly effective defense logistics operations.”

Also at the conference, retired Navy Vice Adm. Gordon Holder, a senior vice president at Booz Allen Hamilton, received the NDIA Gold Medal for his leadership of the Association’s Logistics Management Division for the past five years.
