#HIT, a Virginia Beach, Va.-based company, is marketing a water purification system in a bottle that was conceived by inventor Michael Pritchard of the United Kingdom.
Called, Lifesaver, the bottle relies on a proprietary filtration process that strips bacteria, fungi, parasites, microbiological pathogens from water without chemical additives.
According to the veteran-owned company, Lifesaver is able to filter out impurities down to 15 nanometers, which produces sterile water with “no foul taste.”
The mini-filtration system has been used by British forces in Iraq. In this photo, Pritchard demonstrates the Lifesaver bottle to Rep. Thelma Drake, R-Vademonstrates the Lifesaver bottle to Rep. Thelma Drake, R-Va.
