Protective Glasses Don’t Compromise Hearing
By Robert H. Williams
The problem with most protective shooting glasses is that they break the seal around the ears that is required for hearing protection. An Oklahoma City company — FullPro— claims to have solved that problem.
Its glasses connect directly to the earmuffs, which not only eliminates pressure points against the head, but also enhances hearing protection by as must as three to seven decibels, a spokesman says.
The SoundVision shooting glasses also can be productively used at workshops, factories and other high-noise locales. The protective glasses are offered in clear, amber and smoke tints.
