Gloves, Knee Pads Used in Iraq, Afghanistan

Kevlar construction gloves and knee pads are shielding soldiers around the world. Provided by Hatch Corporation of Temecula, Calif., the products protect without compromising movement.
The Operator Tactical Gloves, officials explain, boast heat, flash and cut protection and excellent tactile sensation. The Centurion Knee Pads, meanwhile, which have high density foam and polyurethane non-slip caps, are shock absorbing.
