NIOSH-Validated Gas Mask Emerges

A gas mask with National Institute for Occupational Safety and
Health-approved chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear agent
protection has been developed for first responders by MSA safety
products division of Pittsburgh, Pa.
Called the Millennium Gas Mask, it features a one-piece polyurethane
lens that is bonded to a rubber face piece. If has a built in drinking
tube and a mechanical speaking diaphragm. A dual canister mount
permits users to sight weapons from either the left or right shoulders.
