First Responders May Get a Boot From This

A lightweight boot with “bubble technology” cushioning and a side zipper is being introduced this summer by Original S.W.A.T. Footwear Co., of Salida, Calif.

Featuring an unencumbered, athletic profile, the boot relies on a plastic shank, which makes it metal-free and, thus, impervious to magnetometers at airports and other sensitive locations.
