
There is a new, ruggedized personal digital assistant on the block. Distributed by Handheld US of Corvallis, Ore., the Nautiz X5 is a full-featured PDA that has an 806 MHz processor and full VGA display. It comes with an integrated three mega-pixel camera with autofocus, bar code scanner, WLAN, Bluetooth, 3G cellular capability and Global Position System locating with InstantFix II.
The relatively low cost PDA has 256 megabytes of random access memory and 512 megabytes of Flash storage. It is powered by an all-day, hot-swappable 4400 mAh Li-ion battery. It is built on Microsoft’s Mobile 6.1 platform.
