Sophisticated Flight Simulator Is Off the Ground

A fully immersive cockpit simulator for the Navy’s E-6B command, control and communications aircraft is now operational. It was built by L3/Link Simulation and Training, Arlington, Texas.

A Naval Air Systems Command news release says the system is the most advanced flight training system in the Navy’s inventory and will be used for initial pilot familiarization.
