Compact System Yields Pure H2O for Troops

2,008

By Robert Williams

#HIT, a Virginia Beach, Va.-based company, is marketing a water purification system in a bottle that was conceived by inventor Michael Pritchard of the United Kingdom.

Called, Lifesaver, the bottle relies on a proprietary filtration process that strips bacteria, fungi, parasites, microbiological pathogens from water without chemical additives.

According to the veteran-owned company, Lifesaver is able to filter out impurities down to 15 nanometers, which produces sterile water with “no foul taste.”

The mini-filtration system has been used by British forces in Iraq. In this photo, Pritchard demonstrates the Lifesaver bottle to Rep. Thelma Drake, R-Vademonstrates the Lifesaver bottle to Rep. Thelma Drake, R-Va.

The Lifesaver All-In-One Ultra Filtration Water Bottle is available through HTI Special Operations Equipment at www.lifesaverusa.com

The Lifesaver Bottle filters to .o15 Microns (15 Nanometers) eliminating ALL microbiological contaminates including viruses. Current reports of Baghdad Cholera outbreaks could have been avoided with the use of the Lifesaver Bottle. The Lifesaver Bottles Secondary Carbon Block filter also reduces non-biological contaminates as well.
