A new law enforcement helmet offers heightened ballistic protection and weighs about 30 percent less than existing protective head gear, according to a spokesman from Ardrey Inc. of Ocean, N.J.
Called the Max Pro Police BA3AC Helmet, it is constructed of continuously reinforced thermoplastic. The helmet is designed for police, paramilitary and corrections personnel who have been tagged to handle SWAT, tactical and general duty operations.
