Cops in Tempe, Ariz., have just received a customized explosive ordnance disposal truck that matches up with recently acquired mobile command and special weapons and tactics vehicles. The vehicles are made by LDV Inc. of Burlington, Wis.
This latest acquisition is housed on a Freightliner MT-55 forward control chassis. It boasts an on-board Remotec F6A robot, versatile communication systems, sensors, landline connections and a CAT6 computer network.
