Quick-Release Vest Goes Over Body Armor

After getting feedback from troops in Iraq and Afghanistan, Spec.
Ops. Brand, of Monhans, Texas, designed and manufactured an easily
removable nylon vest for the Interceptor body-armor system.
“Wearing body armor is pretty much a full-time experience
for our troops. Even back at base, they need the ballistic protection
of body armor, but they don’t need to be wasting time and
energy loading and unloading all day long,” notes Jeff Wemmer,
chief executive officer of the company.
Four adjustment points permit the Over-Armor vest to easily fit
over military body-armor systems.
