Crew members in noisy Humvees or other Army tactical vehicles may
find that inter-communication on the fly is no longer a hassle.
David Clark Co. of Worcester, Mass., is providing a portable intercom/communications
kit that guarantees crews and unit command can be understood when
all hell is breaking loose.
The kits, which accommodate three crewmembers and two radios, were
developed in response to a plea last February from the Army’s
7th Transportation Group. Three and a half months later the company
began shipping the first batch of the intercom systems.
