Vests Shine Like Beacons in the Night

Red Cross workers in the greater New York area who work with first
responders often at night now are equipped with Vis-Tac load-bearing
and Vis-Mat non-load-bearing vests that come with Scotchlite reflective
material.
The workers care for victims, provide water to firefighters and
police, and distribute cleanup kits, among other duties.
The light-reflecting vests are made by Head Lites of St. Paul,
Minn., and the 3M Company there.
