Security Intelligence Technologies unveiled a new BombJammer system
that can be covertly mounted inside a trunk or in the back of a
sports-utility vehicle.
The BombJammer protects against the use of remote controlled improvised
explosive devices, commonly used in terrorist attacks and reported
to have been employed in London and Madrid. The system also obstructs
enemy and terrorist methods of communication.
The technology is used to protect convoys and military operations
in combat areas. A version called VIP 600 is built into a military
backpack and designed for tactical use. The VIP 900 is a stationary
system for protecting military and government installations, municipal
arenas, stadiums, rail stations and subways.
