United CoolAir Corporation, of York, Pa., has developed portable
air conditioners to compete in the emergency/disaster relief and
military markets. The company is adding 5-ton and 12-ton models
to its existing line of 8-ton units. The devices can be customized
for cooling and heating tasks, and can be ducted or configured for
free-blow air supply.
Mobility options include easy roll-on casters, integral forklift
pocket-lifting pods and trailer-mounted models, a company spokesman
said.
