British
troops in Afghanistan—assigned to the Worcestershire and Sherwood
Foresters regiments—are receiving advanced protective eyewear
from Revision Eyewear Inc. The Montreal, Canada-based company is
offering two. The Sawfly and Bullet Ant eyewear feature scratch-resistant,
interchangeable polycarbonate lenses that improve visibility in
nighttime and sunshine.
Providing ultraviolet protection, the goggles are compatible with
currently issued helmets and night-vision systems.
